To an outsider at first glance, Jerusalem, especially the western side of the city, is liable to look like a deserted ghost town on Friday night and Saturday, as most businesses and food establishments are closed. Dig a little deeper, however, and you’ll find that there is actually a decent variety of restaurants to choose from on Saturday in the capital, not just in the more expected areas of Ein Kerem, the Old City, East Jerusalem, and just outside the city in Abu Gosh, but also in the more centrally located parts of town such as the City Center, Talbieh, and the Old Train Station compound.
