Their New Dreams: An evening dedicated to Haim Be’ers new novel
Thursday, May 8, 8:00 PM
When Gideon Sorek resigns from the Mossad after many years of secret service, his one desire is to fulfill an old wish – to write a novel on the fearful days of El Alamein, when the threat of a Nazi invasion hovered over the Jewish settlement in the land of Israel. Gideon is assisted in his writing by Alma Weber, a witty and wise novelist.
The mutual courting that develops brings them to places they never imagined, confronting them with chapters in their lives that were previously suppressed, impacting their view of life.
