The Israel Museum presents "Making an Entrance: Jewish Artists in 19th-Century Europe."

Works by Jewish artists who lived and worked in 19th-century Europe, who straddled the fine line between being observant Jews in their daily practice while painting nudes, landscapes and Christian subjects for their patrons.
