Jerusalem is a very child friendly city in terms of the range of events that are put on for them, which is indeed impressive. There is a particularly high concentration of children's events around the time of the Jewish festivals, but that is not exclusively true as the summer is also a busy time for family fun. There are children friendly events at numerous locations across the city, such as; the Old Train Station, Malha Mall, Tower of David, Mamilla Mall, Bloomfield Science Museum, Kraft Stadium and the Museum for Islamic Art.
The kinds of activities available include; face painting, musical and theater performances, interactive features, guided tours and games. Although they might not be familiar to non-Israelis, local TV celebrities are well worth checking out if you have the chance as they build up a special rapport with your kids and provide them with a memorable experience of their special time in Jerusalem
