Jerusalem has a truly thriving music scene and there are almost weekly events here. Jerusalem has such a wide variety of music events that it is actually quite difficult to selecct just one or two for you to go to but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't try. It isn't just the number of events but also the different musical styles that are represented that make the choice so intriguing.
For example the Jerualem Theater is not only home to the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra who have a magnificent repetoire, but the theater also plays host to the Young Israeli Philharmonic and Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra. The open air square at Beit Avi Chai plays host to music events throughout the summer and is a great place to hear your favorite Israel artists and also ones with which you are less familiar. Jerusalem also has several music inspired clubs, such as Zappa and the Yellow Submarine
