On this one day fun and educational tour of Tel Aviv, you will cover all the main Tel Aviv sites. Start off with the Museum of the Jewish People (Diaspora Museum) to get an understanding of Jewish Identity and Nationhood; then continue onto something completely different - a drive through Tel Aviv's main business and entertainment areas, which rival those of any cosmopolitan city. Next, stop at Rabin's Square, the place of assassination of Prime Minister Itzhak Rabin and visit the memorial to him.
Afterwards, you'll continue to Old Jaffa, an 8000 year old port city to visit the ancient ruins and walk along the quaint restored artist's quarter. Then you'll visit Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, built in 1909. At Nahalat Binyamin, the pedestrian street of the city with its musicians, you'll have the opportunity for a unique shopping experience, browsing handmade jewellery and artifacts.
Finally, enjoy a walk down Sheinkin Street, the lively and colorful street especially known with the unique shops, café life and youthful ambiance where people go to see, and be seen.
