It takes a certain amount of chutzpah to name a bar/grill after Tel Aviv in Jerusalem, a city that feels itself simultaneously inferior and superior to Israel's second capital down on the coast. But, this Tel Aviv-export restaurant concept seems to ask, who cares about city rivalries when there are beer and burgers?
Tel Aviv Kitchen and Bar offers plenty of tasty Belgian (and other) beers on tap and in bottles, as well as wine by the glass and bottle and a full bar lineup. The kitchen dishes out American-style bar fare with an international soul, from Thai wings to pesto-topped 300 gram hamburgers (less avant-garde wings and burgers are also available), and tortilla wraps with everything from fajita fixins to sabich filling within.
