A newer addition to the ever-fluid Shlomtzion HaMalka nightlife district, Glen alludes to its central focus with its very name - that's "Glen" like "Glenfiddich," of course. Young Jerusalemites sure do love their Scotch, for whatever murky historical reason, and in this regard Glen won't disappoint: try a Glenfiddich 18, sip on an Aberlour 10, or undergo the mule kick in the face that is a Laphroaig cask strength (plus many more). A generous lineup of other liquors is on deck, and beers on tap include such relative rarities as Krusovice and Hobgoblin. Glen's bartenders like to dabble in mixology as well, with house special cocktails including such avant-garde offerings as a Bamba-inspired tipple. In a nod to a great barroom tradition in the wider world that so far hasn't really caught on in Israel, Glen also hosts trivia nights - although definitely more geared towards the native Israeli audience.
