While Fame may be an American phenomenon, a penchant for music is still well rewarded in Jerusalem. Administered by the Jerusalem Municipality, The Louis and Tillie Alpert Music Center is a definite stop for music lovers.
Among the Center's various offerings are concerts, vocal development and an Arab-Jewish choir. The center also hosts the Ariel Big Band, Noshefy Haguy and Lavi Graduate Orchestra. It is located in an area of Jerusalem near the Cinematheque, Khan Theatre and Old Train Station - all of which are part of Jerusalem's growing and prominent music scene.
