Description:
Experience the sights of the birthplace of Christianity, the "little town of Bethlehem" only a few short miles away from Jerusalem, and be back in time for lunch.
From Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, you'll drive to Bethlehem, passing by Rachel's Tomb, the most significant Jewish holy site in town, and then proceed to the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square for a firsthand glimpse at the holy sites immortalized in the Gospels. After taking in a scenic overview of the shepherd's field, you'll return to Jerusalem.
Tours of holy sites require modest dress. Men should cover their head at Jewish sites and uncover it at Christian sites. Women should ensure that knees and shoulders are covered. No shorts are allowed for either gender.
Passports are required to enter Bethlehem.
The tour ends in Jerusalem - participants staying in Tel Aviv will have to arrange their own transport back to their hotels.
