For the first time in Israel! The sandbox is transformed into an engineering and building site.
Thanks to a donation from the Jerusalem Foundation, the Bloomfield Science Museum gives children the opportunity to be “young engineers” with a machine for building sand bricks, leveler, try-square, and sketch table. The attraction will debut on June 19th.
The sandbox area in the pre-school area of the museum has been transformed in recent months into an area of development, planning and building. At its center is an experiential display, a factory for filling bags of sand for making sand bricks.
Children are invited to experiment through play and come up with building ideas thus acting as young engineers. They can build things such as sheds for animals, obstacle courses, furniture, or safety fences. The building station includes helmets and building tools for the use of participants.
