An Ancient Melody - The Erez Bar Noy Quartet with new arrangements to works by Mordechai Zeira

The saxophonist Erez Bar Noy is one of the leading saxophonists of the interim generation of Israeli jazz and performs with the leading musicians in Israel and the United States. His music is deeply planted in American jazz, while it includes easily recognizable Israeli elements. During this unique evening, the quartet will present new arrangements to the compositions of Mordechai Zeira, who set dozens of poems to music by Nathan Alterman, Yaakov Orland, Aharon Ashman and Alexander Pen, including “There Were Nights”, “Night”, “Two Roses”, “An Ancient Melody” and more.
Ticket price for one performance: 50 NIS; students: 20 NIS
