Program:
Hudna Afrobeat Orchestra: The Hudna Afrobeat Orchestra is an 13 member ensemble hailing from South Tel Aviv which plays original afro-beat, afro-funk and ethio-jazz style music.
The varied backgrounds of the musicians create a unique chemistry. The show also includes West African dance, inviting the audience to dance along. The ensemble’s melting pot is the “Hudna Bar” in Florentine, the bar which “adopted” the ensemble and where it all began: from the jams and rehearsals to the recording of their first full album which was recorded from a live show. The members of the orchestra are active musicians in the groove scene, and bring their rich experience from collaborations with ensembles such as Zevulun Dub System, Esther Rada, Lfnt, Black Guru, and Marsh Dondurma.
The show will be followed by a street party with DJs Amit Stark and Natalie Eylon.
Sunday-Thursday: 6:30-1:30
Friday: 6:30 until Shabbat starts
Saturday night: from when Shabbat ends until 1:30
