A musical meeting between an American Jewish family and characters from Jerusalem's past that crosses borders, time and reality. The lively, comic and entertaining musical production of "Ah, Jerusalem!", presents the Axelrod family who, on the eve of a trip to Cancun, change their plans and visit Jerusalem thanks to a dreamlike visit by a family ancestor. Led by their intrepid guide, Shmulik, they travel through the centuries – encountering love in the time of King Solomon, danger during the Crusades, and a “ticket to history” in the Jerusalem bus station circa 1920. The show is full of humor and twists, as the Axelrods experience a high-energy, transformational journey through Jerusalem. The play is performed on the fabulous outdoor stage of the Tower of David, among the magical stones of the citadel, by an outstanding cast of seven singer-actors.
