A new series of cultural evenings produced by “New Acropolis.” Every Monday will feature the screening of a movie which has philosophical implications followed by a short lecture.
January 6: Beginning: between dreams and reality, onlookers and participants – who are we?
January 13: Water and Love: on the possibility of choosing courage in a limited and limiting world.
January 20: In a Better World: The grass always seems better on the other side, but at the end of the day much of the problem is in our heads.
January 27: The Truman Show: “Draw me a sheep…”—in a world where everything is transparent we’ll see that maybe we’re scared to really see ourselves.
