Beit Shmuel presents "The Girl With a Brave Heart": a performance based on the book by Rita Yahan-Forouz, adapted and performed by the Orna Porat Children's Theater.
Part of the Israel Festival
May 25, 2013 at 11:30
The story of young Shiraz, who lives the life of a servant in the house of her mother and adopted sister. One autumn day, as she sits by the window knitting a sweater for winter, the wind blew her ball of wool into the house of a mysterious window. Their encounter proves that the most important thing is to listen to one's inner voice, and not just what everyone else is saying. This wonderful theatrical adaptation fuses theater, dance, and music, colorful costumes and set design. The performance is accompanied by various songs from Rita's repertoire, especially from her Persian album released last year.
The show is appropriate for ages 5 and up.
