Beit Shmuel presents "Musical Discoveries": an evening dedicated to Jewish-Italian composer Aldo Finzi (1897-1945).
In the course of the concert you'll hear the story of the composers life under Nazi rule, as well as pieces that have yet to be played in Israel. In addition, segments from the "Serenade on the Wind" opera will be performed with accompanying slides and video clips from the opera. Artistic direction: Ilya Plotkin. The music will be performed by the Aetrerna musicians, of the Jerusalem Chamber Opera Theatre.
