Beit Avi Chai presents "God's Neighbors (Hamashgichim)": Screening and discussion

Monday, November 12, 8 PM

In the wave of Israeli films dealing with the nature of Jewish identity in all its hues, God's Neighbors (Hamashgichim) stands out as a rare achievement. With lively and fluent dialogue, the film depicts a multifaceted protagonist who wants to ensure that his surroundings have a Jewish character and is willing to use any means at his disposal to achieve this end. The protagonist's journey will lead him, and us, to reexamine his values and to understand the links among love, belief, and art.

Moderator: Yuval Rivlin

With:
Meny Yaesh, director of the film
Prof. Tamar Elor, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, the Hebrew University

Admission free, subject to available space. Tickets available from 7 PM

This is a Hebrew-language only event.
