Beit Avi Chai presents "Globalization and the Nation:" A Year Gone By

Thursday, September 6, 8 PM

The global changes taking place throughout the world have a strong influence on Jewish fate: a more nationalistic Europe, a more strict Muslim Middle East, an America that isn't necessarily white and Protestant, and the rise of Asia at the expense of the West.
How will the changes in the international arena influence the Jewish people? What impact will the economic and cultural forces of globalization have on them?

Moderator: Shmuel Rosner, head of the nonfiction department, Kinneret-Zmora-Bitan-Dvir Publishing House

With:
Prof. Shlomo Avineri, Political Science Department at the Hebrew University, Israel Prize laureate, former director-general of the Foreign Ministry
Dr. Yossi Beilin, president of Beilink Co., former MK

Admission free, subject to available space, tickets available from 7 PM.

This is a Hebrew-language only event.
