Beit Avi Chai will mark Tisha B'Av with a day focused on the theme of Eternal Hatred, featuring films and lectures about hatred in Israeli culture and society, its influence on our lives, and its role in shaping our environment.
Sunday, July 29, from 1 PM until the end of the fast
Main Feature:
Screenings of full length films followed by discussions
Moderators: Avner Hacohen, clinical psychologist, and Tamar Rotem, journalist.
The discussions will focus on the familiar hatred: misogyny and exclusion of women, the similarity and differences between political debates and hatred, and hatred due to religion.
Admission free, but subject to available space. Light refreshments will be served after the fast.
