Beit Avi Chai presents "Snow and Forest"-A play based on "The Grave in the Forest" (Kever be-ya'ar) by Uri Zvi Greenberg

Tuesday, July 10, 8 PM

After the Nazis drag all the Jews of the village to an open trench, Ivan the peasant's life is vastly improved-new clothes, new furniture, and a new house, full of silver utensils.
Ivan, now the owner of the house, is extremely grateful to God. However, in the heart of the forest, a blanket of snow covers the dark secret buried there that mars his happiness. Will he have to pay for his actions? Will he be pardoned? Ohad Knoler in a moving performance.

* There will be a short discussion with the actors and director after the show.
From the reviews:
The show is compact, finely honed, and extremely impressive... Zaguri creates the impression that the words spoken are almost physical objects... Knoler plays Ivan with incredible charisma. ... Daniel Sabag breathes life into the Jewish characters.
