Beit Avi Chai presents Dining in Jerusalem: A series of historical workshops on the cuisine of Jerusalem.
Culinary traditions take us on a journey through time in Jerusalem, from the Second Temple period until early Zionism, shedding light on the culture of fascinating bygone eras in the Eternal City.

The Ottomans ruled Jerusalem for 400 years, during which a rich and sophisticated cuisine developed.
An encounter with the stuffed foods, pastries, sweets, coffee and tea that took root in Jerusalem's culinary tradition.
Hosts: Chef Yossi Ben Dayan will show how to prepare dishes from the repertoire of Ottoman haute cuisine, local Arab dishes, and the Jewish kitchen | Edna Assis, a tour guide at Yad Ben-Zvi, will talk about the spirit of the period and the lavish feasts that characterized it.
This two-and-a-half hour workshop will take place twice only:
