Beit Avi Chai presents "Night Owl": Rona Kenan and Dory Manor Talk and Sing.
A literary and musical encounter with musician Rona Kenan and poet and translator Dory Manor. The two discuss the link between Hebrew poets and the musicians who set their poems over the years, such as Nathan Alterman and Sasha Argov; Nathan Zach and Matti Caspi; Eran Tsur and Yona Wallach. Kenan and Manor perform new arrangements of classics in Hebrew and other languages, from Leonard Cohen to Meir Ariel, combining music, readings, and dialogue, with audience participation.
