Beit Avi Chai presents "Born Guilty": What do the children of murderers look like?
The play will be performed twice:

At mid-life you are called upon to give an account of something your parents did. Do you spring to their defense? What if your parents were active members of the Nazi party? A young journalist-a Jew born in Austria after the Holocaust-assembles six children and grandchildren of Nazi war criminals and confronts them with their parents' past. The play is based on real encounters conducted by writer Peter Sichrovsky in the 1980s.
After the play there will be a discussion of morality and guilt in postwar Germany, with audience participation.
