The Jerusalem Arts Festival brings together local and out-of-town performing groups for a week-long celebration of the arts in Jerusalem. This year's festival comprises some 30 performances - dance, theatre and music - taking place in theatres and halls throughout the city.
Description:
About the show - Collage of music and movement from the plays of Berthold Brecht accompanied by the wonderful music of Kurt Weill.
The actors are the audience and the audience are the actors - the fourth wall is blurred - and the Brechtian theater manifesto calls upon us to investigate the nature of man who does not cease creating war each time his empty pocket cries out, and we ask:
Will we bring this upon ourselves once again?
