The Confederation House presents the 13th International Oud Festival, which will take place in Jerusalem from November 8-17, 2012.
The Four Greats: Muhamad Abd al-Wahab, Farid al-Atrash, Layla Mourad and Asmahan

The Nazareth based Orchestra for Arab Music conducted by Nizar Radwan, will present a selection of the classics of four beloved and influential composers and vocalists: Muhamad Abd al-Wahab, who composed hundreds of songs and musical works for the greatest vocalists of his day; Farid al-Atrash, known as the "King of the Oud"; al-Atrash's sister Asmahan,
who sang the songs composed by Abd al-Wahab and her brother; and Layla Mourad, a singer of Jewish origin who also sang songs written by Abd al-Wahab. The songs will be performed by soloists Avi Cohen, Mamun Zayud and Lubna Salameh.
