"Wonder-Working Musician": Melodies of the Modzitz Hasidim
The Chassidic court founded in Modrzyce, Poland, was known for its emphasis on composing Chassidic melodies. The more than 4000 melodies composed over the generations are characterized by musical complexity, richness, and influences from Western classical music. An evening of melodies from this Chassidic group, along with stories from life in the Modzitz community.
