With Prof. Avigdor Shinan and Ofra Pel'ee
The workshop will take place on two dates:
~Thursday, April 7, 7:30PM
~Tuesday, April 12, 7:30PM
Beit Avi Chai invites Seder leaders and Seder guests to attend this introductory workshop, to get to know the Haggadah and find inspiration for creating a unique Seder night.
In the program:
Order (Seder)? What Order?
Prof. Avigdor Shinan, scholar of aggada and midrash, will help us make order of the Passover Haggadah. What is primary and what is secondary? What is ancient and what is more recent? What's the difference between "ha-lahma anya" and "had gadya"? All you wanted to know about the Passover Haggadah and didn't know to ask.
How is it Different?
Ofra Pel'ee, educational consultant, presents a variety of suggestions and creative ideas for the entire family, from the preparation stage until Seder night itself. Enter the world of halakhah and customs, of tradition and innovation, and of melodies and tastes, which all tell the same story.
Admission: NIS 40, students: NIS 20
This is a Hebrew-language only event.
