The Confederation House presents the 13th International Oud Festival, which will take place in Jerusalem from November 8-17, 2012. Most of the perofrmances in this year's festival are original festival productions which offer unique interpretations of ancient and modern works and illustrate the connection between Arab and Persian classical music and Jewish piyyutim. The program includes an impressive variety of musicians from Israel and abroad, colorful, exciting collaborations between Israeli and foreign artists, and tributes to famous oud players, and of course, unique ethnic music enhanced by the strings of the oud.
