The Bloomfield Science Museum presents "Science From the Movies," featuring Yann Arthus-Bertrand's film "A Thirsty World." The film, which was filmed in 20 countries, includes breathtaking aeriel shots from far out places in the world as well as encounters with colorful characters for whom water is a source of life and a daily challenge for livelihood.
The film screening will be followed by a talk with Professor Hillel Schuber about the water crisis in Israel: a naturally occuring or man made catastrophe?
Mr. Frédéric Desagneaux, the general consul of France, will be in attendence.
Entrance is free.
