The 8th Eco Cinema Film Festival will take place at the Cinematheque from November 6-15.
This year's festival features films dealing with the most important environmental issues we are facing today - organic nutrition, sustainable agriculture, extinction of species, biodiversity, renewable energy sources, the dangers of nuclear radioactive waste, etc. Lectures by environmental experts, meetings with film directors and short film competitions will be held at the festival.
The film Solartaxi - Around the World With The Sun (Erik Schmitt, 2010) will be screened at the opening night, followed by a discussion with the film's main character, Louis Palmer.
