The Jerusalem Theatre presents a screening of the film "La Grande Gyerra" (Italy 1959): Mario Monicelli's award winning masterpiece, starring Vitorio Gasman and Alberto Sourdi. The film tells the story of a unique friendship between two soldiers in World War I, who had both tried to avoid the draft, but find themselves, against their will, on their way to the front lines. The film screening will be preceded by a lecture by Dr. Asher Sela, of The Bezalel Academy for Art and Design.
