For the first time in Israel, the original Irish dance troupe Riverdance comes to Israel for eight performances across the country, including a Jerusalem stop at Binyanei Hauma on September 12th at 21:00.
Fifty dancers, singers and musicians (along with five tons of equipment) will present the classic Irish tap dance, an ancient tradition from the culture of Celtic tribes. Since their inception in 1995, the band has performed in over eighty countries for over one hundred fifty million viewers.
While there have been many imitators, no one is quite like this original group, accompanied by an orchestra under the musical direction of Guy Rikarbi.
