The Jerusalem Municipality presents "Rockefeller in Jerusalem": From March 10 - April 14, 2011, Safra Square will be transformed into a huge ice skating rink for the whole family (skating will be allowed for children ages 6 and above). The rink will be open to the public daily from Sunday - Thursday from 10:00-23:00. The space will feature 500 square meters of ice for skating as well as 200 square meters of non-ice space for hanging out, including a coffee shop a small shopping area, all covered by a huge 1000 square meter tent. In addition, there will be music playing throughout the day. Throughout the month, various attractions and events will take place at the rink, including hockey competitions and special guest celebrity visits. The opening night will feature an artistic figure skating show with the best of Israeli ice skaters as well as an ice hockey game.
