Take an adventure through time! Explore the wonderful world of the lands of the Bible, learn about the cultures of the Ancient Near East through priceless treasures that span history from the dawn of civilization through the rise of Christianity and the Talmudic period. See civilization evolve before your eyes through artifacts that illustrate the daily life of our forefathers. Learn about the roots of Monotheism, the origins of the alphabet and much more. Changing special exhibitions broaden the Museum‘s scope including exquisite displays of classical art and a rare collection o f Pompeian frescoes.
Main Exhibition
The Bible Lands Museum takes visitors on a journey through the Ancient Near East to explore the people and civilizations who populated the Bible.
The late Dr. Elie Borowski and his wife Batya founded the BLMJ in 1992 and their priceless collection of ancient artifacts forms the bulk of the museum's permanent collection.

Display - DIONYSUS: Wine & Divine
A brief encounter with the god of wine, intoxication and ecstasy, and his frenzied entourage! In this display of enchanting artifacts, many of which are being exhibited for the first time, view satyrs, maenads and Dionysus himself.
Lost in the Museum - Weekend Family Fun
Saturdays | 10:00 – 14:00 | Free admission for children!
Self guided activity. Ideal for Shabbat observant families (when tickets purchased in advance)
Help the Princess and the Wizard on their spectacular journey to find their lost heirlooms! Search for shiny jewelry and hunting tools that have vanished in the palace, and discover ancient spells and mysterious papyrus writings. But beware of the lurking demons that are trying to throw you off the trail!
