World Music from Poland Meets Spanish Flamenco: Kroke Trio and Amir-John Haddad

Unique cooperation between the Polish world music trio Kroke and oud and flamenco guitar player Amir-John Haddad. Kroke (Krakow in Yiddish) has been active for 20 years creating music drawing from klezmer, from Balkan tradition and from eastern music. Haddad studied flamenco from esteemed masters in Andalucia and for a decade was member of the Radio Tarife band. The performance is an encounter between Eastern European klezmer tradition and the fiery flamenco of southern Spain.
