The Confederation House presents the 13th International Oud Festival, which will take place in Jerusalem from November 8-17, 2012.

Yair Dalal is one of the best known Israeli oud and violin players on the local and international ethnic music scene. His musical works combine influences from Jewish-Iraqi music, Bedouin folk music, and eastern and western classical music. The performance, built around songs from his new album "Ve-Ahavta" presents ancient piyyutim of Rabbi Israel Najara, texts from the tractate Abot and the rabbinic literature, original songs, poems by Amir Or, a Bedouin love song and a beautiful rendition of a song by John Lennon.
