The Opera Festival comes to Jerusalem!
The Israeli Opera, the Jerusalem Municipality, and the Jerusalem Development Authority are proud to extend the Opera Festival to Jerusalem and its environs. Jerusalem joins the ranks of cities such as Verona, Italy; Provence, France; Salzburg, Austria, and many others which hold annual summer opera festivals in historic and archeaological sites. The festival will feature a performance of Verdi's "Jerusalem," performed in Israel for the first time ever, a gala concert with the "Arena di Verona" performing famous opera favorites, and chamber and vocal concerts in Jerusalem churches and other significant sites.
