Jerusalem once again proves itself to be a city that knows how to keep the good times rolling. Even on what you might consider a "down" week, there are plenty of top-draw events on this week's calendar, in both the city center and periphery - read on for our top picks.

• Today is International Museum day, which means free admission to a huge slew of museums around the country, and specifically in Jerusalem.
  
  

• The Kumkum Theater Summer Stage at Gerard Bechar boasts street theater, puppet theater, clowns and circus acts on the round stage every Friday from May 3 - June 14, 2013. For the whole family. This week, the series continues with "Oh La La Circus," a merry comedy with circus acts for the whole family, by the "Cir-kasum" Group.
  
  
• Twice a year, Abu Gosh transforms to a vocal music paradise, attracting thousands of people from around the country, and there are still two days (Friday and Saturday) to enjoy the Shavuot 2013 Festival. Performance highlights include Brahms' "German Requiem," "Hallelujah": Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan Songs, and "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
  
  
• The Spring in the Park series of outdoor weekend events continues this Saturday with "Sounds in the Park": get with the beat with drum circle workshops and capoeira for kids, ecological musical instrument craft workshop, live music, and more. The event will take place at the Jerusalem Park in Gazelle Valley from 10:00-14:00.
  
  
• Celebrated Israeli music man Ehud Banai hits the stage on Sunday night at Beit Avi Chai for an intimate show accompanied by personal stories and discussions with the audience as part of "Stories in Mono" - The Songs and the Stories Behind Them: a series of musical encounters with leading Israeli artists, moderated by Yoav Kutner.
  
  
• Go glam with all the right accessories at the Jerusalem Mall (Malcha)'s Prom Fashion Week, from May 20-29, 2013. • The Night Spectacular at the Tower of David Museum never gets old! The 45-minute light-and-sound display uses the walls beneath the Tower of David as a backdrop to tell a wordless, politically neutral pictorial tale of Jerusalem's history.
