• Hahafuch, Israel's premiere English speaking comedy group, takes the stage at Beit Avi Chai tonight with their new "50 Shades of Blue and White" comedy variety show: a painfully funny night of laughter in Jerusalem. The variety show will feature all new comedy sketches, improv, videos, and special guest comedian Yisroel Campbell! ***This event has been canceled due to the weather. It has been rescheduled to take place on January 23 and 30.***
  
  
  
• When clarinet met distortion, Yiddish met metal, and Klezmer met Ska - Ramzailech was born. Ahead of their European tour and second album release, Ramzailech hits the stage at Gerard Bechar tonight playing new material with special guests, clarinet, Yiddish, and of course, lots of distortion. The show will be followed by a dance party with Laissez Passer DJs playing new and old music in unexpected arrangements.
  
  
• The "Visit of Kaiser Wilhelm II" exhibit, focusing on the Kaiser's royal visit in 1898 through the lens of journalism and media, remains on display at the Tower of David Museum through March. On Friday, Dr. Eyal Miron will lecture (in Hebrew) on the Kaiser's visit from a Jewish perspective, followed by a visit to the exhibition.
  
  
• "Hutzpah!" A Capella Group and the Tel Aviv Student Union's Wind Instrument Ensemble join forces for a concert on Saturday night at Beit Shmuel, at which they'll perform a rich repertoire of modern American music by composers including Bernstein, Anderson, Ives, and others. It promises to be a rich musical night full of surprises, exciting and funny.
  
  
• Jerusalem's chamber opera theater "Aeterna Opera," under the direction of conductor Ilya Plotkin, celebrates ten years of activity with a special concert featuring segments from its repertoire of the past decade. The concert will take place at the Khan Theatre on on Sunday as part of the Keshet Artists "Jerusalem Opera Festival" project.
  
  
• Kids going stir crazy inside after days of rain? Head down to the Jerusalem Mall (Malcha), where an innovative new play area featuring motorized climbing and playing toys for ages 1-6 is open for monkey business until January 16. It's so much fun your kids won't want to go home! The play area is located on the middle floor of the mall in the Mashbir Plaza.
  
  
• The Israel Museum goes green with a pre-Tu Bishvat event for kids on Tuesday. Activities include making mini trees in all sorts of shapes and colors in an arts and crafts workshop and a visit to Menashe Kadishman's blue tree sculptures, followed by a story theater session led by Mia Sahar featuring Rinat Hoper's story "Chanan Haganan."
