Jerusalem's top events for the week of November 22nd
Jerusalem gears up for another autumnal week packed with events of all sorts for children and adults alike. The Israel Ballet's "And the Earth Shall Bear Again," first performed in London for the 2012 Olympics, makes its Israeli debut tonight at the Jerusalem Theatre, Izabo rocks out at Beit Avi Chai on Saturday night, and the Bloomfield Science Museum opens its doors to kids free of charge with a weekend of live performances, workshops and demonstrations.
This week, the city has been busier and more packed than ever, hosting, thus far, thousands of residents from southern communities daily,
providing children and families a much needed respite from life under
fire. With a fragile cease-fire now in effect, we hope it won't be necessary, but should the situation change, visitors from the south are invited to continue to take advantage of discounts
and specials at a host of cultural institutions and hotels around town.
The Tower of David Museum, The Bloomfield Museum of Science, Israel Museum and the Museum of Islamic Art are all among the venues offering free or discounted entrance, and the Inbal Hotel and Beit Shmuel Hotel and Guesthouse welcome guests from the South with a 20% discount.*
