Festival season in Jerusalem kicks off with a doozy and more this week
With the barrage of springtime holidays now behind us, Jerusalem is filling in the gaps with a multitude of festivals throughout the summer. Kicking off the festivities this week is the Israel Festival, which starts on Tuesday and runs through the middle of June (don't forget to check out major ticketing discounts - up to half off - on the festival's impressive jazz shows, available exclusively to GoJerusalem users). Other annual good times coming up this summer include the Jerusalem Film Festival, the Chutzot Hayotzer crafts festival, the Beer Festival, the Wine Festival and a host of concerts at the Sultan's Pool amphitheater. But the Israel Festival isn't the only game in town this week. Here's a look at some other events you won't want to miss.
There's plenty more happening around town, too - check out our complete event listings.
