Thursday, February 23: “The Opposite of Living” – The Interdisciplinary Arena
‘The Opposite of Living’ invites you for a show that is the exact opposite of anything we got used to seeing at the conventional theater. It’s a nighttime, personal experience for a single person, which takes place at a space of the Nature Museum of Jerusalem where time froze.
Thursday, February 23: Eli Magen Live at the Nocturno
Eli Magen, one of the pioneer contrabass players in Israel and the velvet-voiced singer who has modestly accompanied our lives since the early 70’s. Come and meet him at the Nocturno on a special performance.
Friday, February 24: Saturday Tune at the Bible Lands Museum
Throughout the series of Friday evenings at the museum, Shlomo Ilan Kenan, a member of the “Jerusalem Tune” ensemble, a composer and Eastern stringed instruments’ player, will be hosting a different member of the ensemble every meeting, for a refreshing conversation about the weekly Torah portion and for a performance of well known, loved songs.
Next Wednesday, March 1st: Beginning of the Month with Hanna Rovina at Beit Avi Chai
The ‘First of the Month’ event held for the Hebrew month of Adar at Beit Avi Chai will regard the character of this famous first lady of Hebrew theater. The event will be hosted by psychologist Avner HaCohen, with participants such as Nava Macmel-Atir, a writer and playwright, and Michael Handelzalts, a theater critic and member of Ha’aretz newspaper editorial staff.
