Pastor Benny Hinn, renowned evangelist and teacher, head of Benny Hinn Ministries and star of the inspirational program Today Is Your Day!, recently returned to the land of his birth to broadcast from the Mini Israel theme park near Jerusalem on Israel's 62nd Independence Day. Hinn, born of Greek Orthodox parents in Jaffa, used Mini Israel's scale models to regale his flock with stories of the battles fought in the surrounding Latrun region during the War of Independence as Israeli fighters struggled to keep the road to Jerusalem open.
