The holiday of freedom is around the corner, but with kids on break, frantic cleaning, shopping, and cooking, you might be feeling more like a slave in ancient Egypt. Not to worry: GoJerusalem has got your back with a host of ideas on how to get through the week and keep everyone happy. Activities for the youngsters include wet and wild educational fun with water at the Bloomfield Science Museum and a week of experiential tours and arts and crafts at the Tower of David Museum. The Malcha Mall will hold a gift fair with special deals on holiday shopping. And as always, there are plenty of excuses to put down the broom for a bit and enjoy the rich variety cultural and culinary offerings in Jerusalem this week, from art exhibitions to hamburger specials and a lot in between. • Retro is in. A new weekly Thursday night retro fair will take place in the City Center, on the Agrippas Street pedestrian mall, featuring antiques, vintage, collectors, and second hand items, accessories, and more. An international antiques expert will be on hand to assess items at no cost. Additional highlights include an organic farmer's market, guided tours, and summer concerts and family activities.  
   
• Take advantage of a variety of food themed specials in the capital this week. Adom's Spanish March festival features a daily-changing tapas menu, La Boca offers unmissable deals on Carmel and Yatir wines this month, and Lavan's hamburger festival boasts juicy hamburgers and toppings accompanied by a rich choice of Israeli beers.
   
• The "Festigalgal" bike festival returns to Jerusalem: an organized ride from Oranim Junction to Mishmarot Street in Musrara this Friday will be followed by a bicycle-themed extravaganza with parades, live musical performances, tours, activities for children, and more.
   
• The Jerusalem Artists House continues to host fascinating, monthly-changing exhibits showcasing works of Israeli artists. Currently featured are the paintings of David Ben-Shaul, who rarely displays his art in large spaces, as well as portraits by Chana Goldberg and photography by Israeli-Druze artist Abir Atallah. Check it out on Saturday, when the galleries are open from 11:00-14:00.
   
• The Malcha Mall's comprehensive gift fair will leave you with no excuse to show up at your holiday meal empty handed. The colorful bazaar features houseware, decorative items, textiles and feng shui products, which will enhance the festive atmosphere in any home. Shoppers who spend over 699 NIS will be granted a Kosher for Passover spice set.
   
• The recently opened "Hanta Paint and Clay” exhibit at Beit Shmuel displays the paintings of Katie Shouraki and ceramic sculptures of her daughter, Sara Shouraki. The works focus on the theme of natural phenomena.
   
• Just as the rainy season comes to an end, the Bloomfield Science Museum re-opens its "Touching Water" exhibit, which features huge interactive displays in a pool of water which children and their parents are invited to operate, to undertsand the characteristics of water and to try out man made machines meant to conserve water.
   
• The holiday hasn't even started, but the young ones are on break and already getting edgy. Sound familiar? The Tower of David Museum invites children and their parents to celebrate fantasy, color and movement this week with a guided tour of its "Jerusalem in Four Hands" exhibit, followed by an arts and crafts workshop.
