With the end of the fall festival season, all things which the country has been pushing off until "after the holidays" are coming due. So that concert you've been meaning to go to, or art series you've been meaning to check out, or restaurant everyone tells you is worthy of patronizing... no more procrastinating - now's the time. Lucky for you, Jerusalem has a full lineup of fun things happening all week long.

Don't make fun. Israel's first mockumentary film festival is serious business, with a number of movies competing for a $1,000 prize. The festival, part of the Manofim art series, kicks off at the Tower of David Thursday night with a screening of Lonely Planet by Idan Zeira.

And also tonight in the Old City, as on every Thursday throughout November, we're treated to an enchanted opportunity to step back through time in the picturesque alleys, where the Middle Ages come alive (pictured) with costumed characters, chants of times gone by, acrobatics and drama. It's all under the framework of the City of Lions festival, also known as Jerusalem Knights.

Ever wonder what goes on inside the walls of Jerusalem's more notable homes? Ever wish that neighbor in the Templar home would hold an open house? You're in luck. The fifth annual Houses from Within Festival, which offers tours of amazing structures and sites across the city, begins Friday. The free tours are all staffed by certified tour guides, architects, city planners and historians.

Israel's version of the Osmonds isn't a little bit country or rock and roll. But it's a whole lot awesomer. The Elayev family, which originally hailed from the Caucasus, brings its acclaimed (and hipster-approved) ethnic grooves to Beit Avi Chai's P7 concert series on Saturday night.

On Sunday, diminutive yet upbeat guitar popster Yoni Gavriel hits the Blaze Bar, which hosts live music sets nearly every night of the week.

Magic Lantern, a new exhibit at the Israel Museum, includes a range of international and Israeli contemporary art, all on view for the first time at the Museum. The works, which go on display this Monday, deal with the subject of magical and metaphorical landscapes, wondrous interiors, and day-dreams.

On Tuesday, the Jerusalem Theatre inaugurates a three-day dance festival of contemporary artists. Tuesday's line up features four choreographers - Roi Asaf, Noa Tzuk, Doron Raz, Gili Navot - searching for depth in movement.

Wednesday is the 17th anniversary of Yitzchak Rabin's death at the hands of an assassin. While memorials for Rabin are not as ubiquitous as they were when his passing was more recent, Beit Avi Chai is marking the yahrzeit with a debate on Israeli democracy, featuring a number of the country's leading politicians and policy-makers.
