School's out for summer. Whether you're a parent looking for a way to entertain the kiddies or a suddenly homework-less university student, Jerusalem has got you covered to fill up your days and nights.

On Thursday, Jerusalem stores on Jaffa Road near the Klal building celebrate the now monthly Stock Day with huge sales. Admission is not free, but the live performances of music on the street starting in the late afternoon will be.

Catch the last night of The Cocktail Festival at Mia Bar tonight too. The dedicated menu includes many concoctions to choose from, including homages to strawberry, coconut, marshmallow and chili. All drinks are offered at special discounted prices. Later, keep the celebration going at Uganda, when breakbeat meistro DJ Sparko hits the decks.

The Front Stage series of Friday afternoon street parties is back, and all that jazz - literally. On Friday, Yulki Falki and the Ruskie-tinged New Orleans Jazz Band ought to get Shushan Street rocking. The party also includes a fair with accessories and sculptures.

Make Saturday a classic with the chamber music of Brahms, Schubert and Franck at the Eden Tamir center in Ein Kerem.

On Sunday, an old Ottoman prison at the bottom of the Tower of David is opened to the public for the first time, where listeners are held captive by the minimalist music of Steve Reich, performed by Sweden's Fleshquartet.

On Monday, the Balabasta Festival at the shuk returns, with tours, live video art projections, eating contests, live music, dancers, art and more. And don't forget to pick up some fresh pita while you're there.

On Tuesday, Kuntz the Court Jester entertains all the rugrats at the Israel Museum, with a meta-play about the magic of theater.

Hot Jazz, a series of jazz performances featuring local talent collaborating with international jazz luminaries, culminates on Tuesday with Jazz meets Brazil. and features Lilan Vieria of Brazil (pictured) in a musical dialogue with the local Chorole ensemble at the Gerard Bechar Center.

Can't make it to the pool on Wednesday? No worries - you can still get wild about all things wet at the Bloomfield Science Museum's water exhibit.
