A group of the Chilean miners who were stuck underground for nearly three months have been touring Jerusalem, but who says they (pictured) get to have all the fun? Here's a list of great things happening around the Holy City for those who have not necessarily spent time in a hole - and for those who have.

Two Tel Aviv bands that are on the cutting edge and gaining cult followings visit the Yellow Submarine Thursday for a show of good old rock and roll. Check out We Got the Hotties and Reines Girls before they hit the big time.

Friday is the beginning of the two-weekend long Children's Winter festival, with loads of offerings for the kiddies at the Museum of Islamic Art, the Bloomfield Science Museum, The Tower of David Museum and a number of other places.

Eugene Ionesco's Rhinoceros maintains a special place in Israel, where politicians are fond of using the play's plot to lodge ad hominem attacks on their adversaries. But the master of the absurd wrote more than one play, and on Saturday night Hamartef Theater in Baka puts on Fragments of Voices, based on Frenzy for Two or More by Ionesco and Not Now, Bernard, by David Mackee.

Jon Jost's photography exhibit at Musrara appropriately uses stills of Gimabologna's sculpture Samson Slaying a Philistine to create two groundbreaking collages. There's more at the exhibit, too, which you can check out through the end of the month.

The coming of spring means the opening of home redecorating season, and the Malcha Mall has just the thing for what ails your itchy fingers, a Home Styling festival starting Monday and running through Wednesday.

With the new university semester in full swing, students can get thirsty between all that "studying" and extra curricular activities. Luckily Agua has a student special for BOGO beers all night Tuesday night.

In hyper-emotional Israel, there's really no such thing as a movie without a point (some Eskimo Limon sequels notwithstanding). So the Barbur art gallery's Popcorn and Social Justice screening series should be a big draw. This Wednesday is the hit Mexican film Pan's Labyrinth coupled with a talk on interrogation rooms.
