On Tuesday, head to Beit Avi Chai for Bar Ilan Professor Hananel Mack's third in a series of lectures about the forgotten apocryphal books of the Second Temple Period, which include Septuagint and lost appendices to the books of Esther and Daniel (in Hebrew). It's information you won't soon forget.

Wednesday is as good a day as any to see what's happening at the Jerusalem Artists House's fall offerings. The venue us always on the cutting edge of the city's arts scene, and current shows include the works of primal painter Elad Rosen and the circular canvases of Yonat Ofer-Ziz.
