Summer Friday afternoon parties fill the Jerusalem streets
The Front Stage series of summer Friday afternoon parties has been taking the Jerusalem streets by storm. Below please enjoy some of the evidence.
Yonatan Strier, who primarily disseminates information via The Front Stage's Facebook presence, explains to GoJerusalem.com that it's all about rendering the concept of "nightlife" irrelevant. "We're talking daylife. It's the new Thursday night, Saturday night. Now everybody looks forward to Friday afternoon," he says.
This Friday, the action continues with headlining DJs Tomer Yosef and Tamir Muscat of Balkan Beat Box making King George Street shake. On August 14, Histadrut Street gets rattled by DJ Roy Mualem and bands fronted by Efraim Shamir and Itzhak Klepter. Mercedes Band is set to make Ben Shetach Street roll on August 21. And so forth. Details are available on our events calendar, which appears at the top-right corner of all of our pages.
